Chose dite, chose faite !
Ce mardi 28 janvier 2025, rendez-vous à la Salle Pleyel, lieu habituel du défilé couture de Stéphane Rolland, pour remplir cet édifice de 2000 places avant le défilé débutant à 15h00.
He had announced it since last September: his next Haute Couture show will be open to the public and all funds raised will be donated to the Foundation of Hospitals.
Thing said, thing done!
On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, head to the Salle Pleyel, the usual venue for Stéphane Rolland’s couture show, to fill this 2,000-seat building before the show begins at 3:00 p.m.
Tout le monde est assis, la lumière s'éteint et Françoise Gillard, Sociétaire de la Comédie Française, apparaît dans un cercle de lumière, rendant ce moment poétique, afin de nous présenter la mission de la Fondation des Hôpitaux et le rôle de Stéphane Rolland au sein de cette association, qui a mis en place deux opérations inédites :
ce défilé, ouvert au public via une billetterie et dont tous les fonds seront reversés directement à l'association ;
l'organisation de six ateliers pour 12 jeunes de 13 à 19 ans accompagnées par la MDA du Loir et Cher portée par le Centre Hospitalier Simone Veil de Blois.
Parmi ces ateliers, un concert de Vitaa (présente ce jour au défilé) et une séance photo au studio INVISU avec notre ancienne Miss France Eve Gilles (également présente ce jour au défilé).
Everyone is sitting, the light goes out and Françoise Gillard, Sociétaire of the Comédie Française, appears in a circle of light, making this moment poetic, to present the mission of the Fondation des Hôpitaux and the role of Stéphane Rolland within this association, which has set up two new operations:
this fashion show, opened to the public via a ticket office and all funds will be donated directly to the association;
the organization of six workshops for 12 young people aged 13 to 19 years accompanied by MDA du Loir et Cher carried by the Simone Veil Hospital Centre in Blois.
Among these workshops, a concert by Vitaa (present today at the show) and a photo shoot at INVISU studio with our former Miss France Eve Gilles (also present this day at the show).
Mme.Gillard disparaît à son tour et c'est l'ouverture du rideau sur le premier look de ce défilé : un tailleur veste à basque drapée en crêpe satin ébène et noir, pantalon droit en gazar noir.
Car cette collection, et son objectif philanthrope, est inspirée par la grande Joséphine Baker pour qui les enfants tenaient une grande place dans sa vie. En effet, elle a elle-même adopté 12 enfants entre 1953 et 1964, tous très jeunes et des quatre coins de la terre. Elle les a réunis au Château des Milandes avec son mari, Jo Bouillon, et a ainsi démontré une belle histoire d'amour, de paix, d'humanité, loin des préjugés raciaux et autres fléaux de notre société.
Mme.Gillard disappears in turn and it is the opening of the curtain on the first look of this show: a suit basque jacket draped in ebony satin crêpe and black, straight pants in black gazar.
Because this collection, and its philanthropic purpose, is inspired by the great Josephine Baker for whom children held a large place in her life. She adopted 12 children herself between 1953 and 1964, all very young and from every corner of the world. She brought them together at the Château des Milandes with her husband, Jo Bouillon, and thus demonstrated a beautiful story of love, peace, humanity, far from racial prejudices and other scourges of our society.
Les mannequins continuent de défiler sous la bande son de Joséphine Baker, dans ces looks de battantes "un peu guerrières" comme le décrit Stéphane Rolland lui-même", afin de nous raconter cette histoire d'amour, de paix et le plus important : d'humanité.
The models continue to parade under the soundtrack of Joséphine Baker, in these looks of "a little bit warlike" fighters as described by Stéphane Rolland himself", in order to tell us this story of love, peace and most important: humanity.
